Cabbage Patch Love

From the time I was a little girl, I have loved Cabbage Patch Dolls. Some people think they are creepy but their little round faces, squishy bodies and yarn hair have always been adorable to me. For a long time, I didn't think about Cabbage Patch Dolls at all really. They were a toy I used to play with when I was little. Then about 12 years ago, I rediscovered them. I remembered how much I loved them and decided that I wanted more of them. And that is how I first began collecting them. Over the last year, I have expanded my collection and started a new endeavor. I want to give Cabbage Patch dolls another chance at life, another chance at love. When I see them on the shelves at a thrift store, I buy them. I bring them home and begin the process of bringing them back to life. Over the last month I have decided to take this one step further. I have now started taking the hair out of my dolls and putting new yarn hair in. It is a lot of fun and it gives them a much needed face lift.
